It was not a friendly banter at all between rapper, Jude Abaga, better known as M.I and a twitter user named “Aircrazy.”
The twitter user had commented on Eminem’s recent success at MTV Europe Music Awards, EMA 2017 where the famous, volatile American rapper picked up an award with “Aircrazy” impressed with his longevity and humility despite his huge successes.
M.I replied that the two Ms will be fine, in a comparison with Eminem, further asking the twitter user what he’s doing for a living. The question didn’t obviously go down well with the twitter user who insulted M.I calling him an “Agbaya” (good for nothing) further saying he lacks both commonsense and height for talking about retirement in comparison with Eminem who’s been a rapper for over two decades.
The Twitter user’s comments can be linked to M.I’s latest single, “You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives” where he admonished and insulted other rappers for not living up to the billing and not doing enough to take hiphop to the next level. He boasted about coming out of retirement to bring what’s missing in Nigeria’s hiphop while using certain abusive words which has left many hiphop fans in Nigeria angry and critical of the versatile rapper.
