SPORTS | James Milner sets new Premier League record with strike against Man City

Liverpool stalwart James Milner set a new Premier League record after his goal helped Liverpool to a 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Sunday.

The midfielder hit home from the penalty spot to give the visitors the lead after half-time, although Sergio Aguero later converted to give City a share of the points.

He has now scored in 47 first-division games – and never finished on the losing side after hitting the target. Of those games, 37 have ended in victory for his side, with 10 finishing in a tie.
