THE THREAD: Round up of all the happenings on Nigerian Twitter this week (Must Read)

It has been a very long and interesting week on the Nigerian twitter. A week of intrigues, bants and an electrifying worship at the experience and of course a week where two of Nigerian finest artistes won big at this year Mobo Awards.

sha! trust Nigerian politicians to make political capital out of the current happenings in the country and the continent as 2019 approaches.

The former Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan took to his official twitter handle to congratulate Wizkid on his award as Best International Act.

Atiku Abubakar, Former Nigerian Vice president and one of the contenders for the number one seat in Nigeria followed suit.

Trust Dankwambo to also tweet his own just to endear himself to these lads by congratulating  them.

On relationship twitter, one Yomi, a Yoruba demon! lol…. thats one who breaks girls’ heart in Nigerian local slangs was a subject of discussions all through Thursday.

Yomi according to twitter users, had been dating Prisca whom he met 6 months ago, unknown to prisca, dude has been dating another long time girl friend of his of  over 3 years whose name is also Prisca while still keeping up with Prisca. ( BASED ON KARDASHIAN LEVEL NA…LOL)

well, Prisca story didn’t hold water as twitter users turned her heartbroken story into bant.

EHE! The cross River state governor Ayade presented a budget to Cross River state House of Assembly.

guess how much is the budget, a whooping sum of N1.3trilion Naira.

How the governor intends to fund this humongous amount with an average IGR of N15billion per annum is still a mystery to us.

On wednesday, news of Nigerians and other Sub-Saharan African refugees who are being bought and sold in the slave markets across Libya was a talking point.

On thursday, rights activists, Charles Oputa and Deji Adeyanju took to Libyan embassy to protest the inhuman and barbaric treatments of Nigerians in Libya.

Friday was indeed awesome as gospel ministers across the globe converged at the TBS, Lagos to worship God in an electrifying atmosphere that got many worshipers in awe!

legendary Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Travis Greene, Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwords, Chioma Jesus, Tim Godfrey, Kenny Black and Tope Alabi were all present.

Many worshipers who could not make it to Lagos stay glued to their TV to watch the worship sessions live!

The Experience is an annual praise and worship festival of Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s House On The Rock Curch.

This year’s edition is the 12th and it was filled with lots of worship.

oh Yes! the week ended with Atiku Abubakar in an exclusive interview with Dele Momodu of Ovation Magazine revealing how Nigerian President was denied visa for 15 years to the United States of America on religious grounds. The president is yet to react to this.
