It’s no news that Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii has emerged as the Governorship Candidate of the PDP in Ebonyi State for the 2023 General Elections after a hard fought legal battle which was finally put to rest after the Supreme Court Judgement affirming him as the authentic candidate of the Party.
While there was wild jubilation across the State signaling a new era the people have been yearning for, it’s so unfortunate to see that Dr. Odii has been hanging around some group of persons with questionable character.
The Ebonyi State PDP governorship candidate in the 2023 general election, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii seem to be intentionally setting himself up for political destruction with the kind of people he surrounds himself with and in his campaign organization.
As earlier stated , Dr. Odii whose emergence as PDP governorship candidate of the party was greeted with a lot of controversies until the Supreme Court later breath life into his candidacy by delivering judgment in his favour a few months ago, has now embarked on a self destructive political voyage by reason of his association with an alleged notorious scammer from Anambra State called “Brandy” who parades himself as the body guard and domestic steward to Dr. Odii.
Mr. Brandy is alleged to be a protege of an APC chieftain from Abia State and when you juxtapose that fact with the claims from some quarters within the PDP in the State that Dr. Odii is playing an APC card considering his being a member of Lagos State University Governing Council (an APC controlled State), one is tempted to connect the dots.
Ebonyians are really worried by this development and have called on Dr. Odii to retrace his steps and stop moving around with people of questionable character as that may affect his chances in the Guber Polls next year.
