I Will Show Tinubu I’m In Charge in Kogi State, Yahaya Bello Boasts

…Threatens Party Stakeholders

Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Tuesday, at a stakeholders meeting in Government House in Lokoja, Kogi State, threatened to “show” President Bola Tinubu that Kogi is his (Bello) territory.

Bello, described as “looking worried” by stakeholders who attended the meeting was quoted as lamenting what he described as “the game by those in Federal and their cohorts not to support us.”

One of the participants at the meeting, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the governor promised to show “the Federal people that he is not called the ‘White Lion’ for nothing and that Kogi is his territory.”

According to the source, the governor noted that the action of the ‘Federal’ by not supporting him can pave the way “for that one that claims to jump from tree to tree or that his brother that is not taller than a monkey in the bush. But I will show them.”

The governor, who was said to have issued a serious warning to the stakeholders from the Kogi West against betraying him at the November 11 election, also warned that disaster awaits those who will attempt betrayal.

“I will destroy your today, your tomorrow and anything you have gathered for your future, even if I have one hour to leave office,” the governor was quoted as telling the stakeholders.

The governor was also said to have queried the absence of one of the local government administrators from Kogi West from the Stakeholders meeting.

“I hope nobody jokes with me,” he was quoted to have further threatened.

Governor Bello was also said to have frowned at one of the commissioners who was accused of not using the palliatives released by the State government to lure unsuspecting Kogites to support the APC at the zonal rally held in Kabba, Kogi State, recently.
