Akin Alabi appointed into APC finance committee

The lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Akin Alabi, has been appointed into the All Progressives Congress (APC) standing committee on finance.

Alabi, who doubles as the Chairman House of Representatives committee on Works was appointed to serve as member of the 37-man committee headed by Mr Uguru Matthew Ofoke.

The appointment is in line with the APC Constitution and resolutions reached at the 133rd meeting of the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) held on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

According to a statement signed by the APC National Secretary, Bashir Ajibola, members of the standing committees will support the party in its decision making processes.

The party also announced the constitution of four other committees on establishment, publicity, intergovernmental affairs as well as conflict and reconciliation to be headed by Ajibola Basiru, Felix Morka, Emma Eneukwu and Chief Bisi Akande respectively.

The statement also noted that the inauguration of all the committees will hold at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
