
The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is the apex body governing all students in Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, and all other institutions awarding National and Higher National Diploma certificates across the country. Comrade Nanchang Peter Timloh has commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang for appointing Dr. Clement Chirman as the Rector of the Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, Plateau State.
The National Vice President External of the National Association of Polytechnic Students, Comrade Nanchang Peter Timloh, said:
“On behalf of 20.1 million Polytechnic Students, I receive with utmost the appointment of Dr. Clement Chirman. Indeed, this appointment is a sure guarantee that the institution will witness unprecedented growth and development in all spheres. I am confident that you’ll bring to bear on this great institution of learning your vast wealth of experience as a senior lecturer of over a decade in this institution,” he said.
The National Association of Polytechnic Vice President External said the newly appointed Rector has been poised with a new challenge to bring about instructional changes, staff welfare, and a good learning environment for students.
“The vision of delivering outstanding leadership, human capital development via staff well fare, school infrastructural uplift, providing safe and conducive academic learning environment, and the overall, ensuring the integrity of the institution is protected now rest on your shoulders. We have no doubt you’ll deliver.” He added.
Comrade Nanchang Peter Timloh urged the newly appointed Rector to immediately set out to work on the transformational vision for the growth of the institution. A vision he has always wanted to bring to bore as a lecturer. Also, the NAPS VP External pledged to support the Rector in achieving his noble goals.
“We are ready to ensure the successes of his tenure as we are willing to commit our expertise, time, and technical know-how to further aid the realization of the vision and policies of the Rector.”
“I implore Dr, Clement Chirman in his usual character, to run an inclusive leadership as we know him to be a person of magnanimous disposition, a man of impeccable character, a trailblazer, and an outstanding administrator. We encourage you to carry everyone along in this assignment to reposition the Plateau State Polytechnic to operate in international best practices, and live up to her core mandate and standards,” he advised
