Oke Umurhohwo Foundation Concludes Free Fuel Initiative in Ekuigbo, Ughelli

Ekuigbo, Ughelli, Delta State, 8th June – The Oke Umurhohwo Foundation successfully wrapped up its Free Fuel Initiative today in Ekuigbo, Ughelli, providing much-needed support to nearly 200 commercial drivers in the community.

The initiative, organized in celebration of the founder Hon. Oke Umurhohwo’s birthday on May 5th, aimed to ease the financial strain on commercial drivers in Ughelli. Starting promptly at 8:00 AM, the event was managed efficiently and peacefully, thanks to the Foundation’s dedicated team.

Hon. Oke Umurhohwo’s participation in the fuel distribution added to the event’s excitement, as drivers expressed immense gratitude for the support.

Project lead Miss Deborah Emekpe shared her satisfaction with the initiative’s success, saying, “Today’s successful and organised event showcased the incredible community spirit of Ekuigbo. Our goal was to reduce the financial burdens on commercial drivers, and witnessing their gratitude was deeply rewarding. The dedication of our team made this possible, and I am extremely proud of what we accomplished.”
