Suleiman Abdullahi: Nigerians Donate ₦100M To Sacked Soldier

Nigerians, particularly from the northern region, have contributed over 100 million naira to support dismissed soldier Suleiman Abdullahi. Abdullahi was sacked by the army after he posted a video on social media criticizing the government for allowing bandits and terrorists to operate freely in several parts of the country, despite the military’s capability to eliminate them in under 24 hours.

Excerpts:
“This is what Nigeria has become, simply because i came out to say the truth and say the things happening in the country.
I didn’t insult my superiors, i didn’t insult the political leaders. I only came out to talk about the bandits and the things happening in Nigeria but Nigeria doesn’t like to hear the truth. Speaking about the truth has made me to lose my job, today I have been dismissed from the army because of the truth I spoke.
I am happy and fulfilled that anyone who will come across me or my video won’t say that’s the soldier who stole anything, or that is the soldier who was caught with another man’s wife or that’s the soldier who was caught with illegal rifles. I am grateful to God because it was God who gave me the opportunity to serve as a soldier and it’s equally God that took it away. Alhamdulillah”
