Police in Ebonyi State have arrested 40-year-old Joshua Nwafor for his alleged involvement in the de@th of his wife, Charity.
Reports reveal that the suspect att@cked and k+lled his wife during an argument over a tuber of yam at their home in Nsokkara, Ezza South Local Government Area.
The couple, who had been married for 17 years and had children, reportedly clashed after Joshua brought out a yam to cook for the family. Charity insisted on roasting it instead and went ahead to do so, which enraged Joshua.
The Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the incident in a chat with newsmen.
