NNPC Ltd. Hosts IPPG to Boost Collaboration in Nigeria’s Oil and Gas Sector


Abuja, June 13, 2025 – The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, welcomed a delegation from the Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG) at the NNPC Towers in Abuja today. The delegation, led by IPPG Chairman Abdulrazaq Isa of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited, engaged in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening ties between indigenous oil companies, international oil companies (IOCs), and NNPC Ltd.
The meeting focused on aligning efforts to meet Nigeria’s national oil production goals and shaping the future of the country’s oil and gas industry. Isa emphasized IPPG’s vision for sustainable growth within the sector, highlighting the need for collaborative strategies to address industry challenges.


Engr. Ojulari underscored NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to transparency and sustainability, spotlighting the company’s ongoing baseline survey, which has benefited from the expertise of IPPG’s 32 member companies. He also pointed to the recently released Monthly Report Summary for April 2025 as evidence of NNPC Ltd.’s dedication to accurate and open production reporting.
