President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday met with French President Emmanuel Macron for a private working lunch at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
Tinubu is currently on a 10-day working vacation in Europe, which started last Thursday, and is splitting his time between France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga earlier clarified that the trip is part of Tinubu’s 2025 annual leave.
