North Central APC Forum Mourns Death Of Senator Ewuga

North-Central All Progressives Congress Forum on Wednesday expressed sadness over the death of a respected chieftain of the party, Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga.

Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, made this known in a statement made available to reporters in Jos.

Our correspdent reports that Solomon Ewuga, a former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state,Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Senator who represented Nasarawa North in the 7th National Assembly, died at the age 70.

Senator Ewuga died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness, according to family sources.

Ewuga’s career spanned decades of public service marked by commitment, resilience and political versatility.

Alhaji Zazzaga noted the deceased’s impeccable pedigree, strong intellectual endowment, brilliance, uncommon humility and high sense of responsibility, exemplary character and a total commitment to the spirit and ethics of public service.

He described Senator Ewuga’s death as a colossal loss to the North Central APC Forum stressing that his invaluable contributions to the group,party, his statesmanship, and thoughtful positions on nation-building would be deeply missed.

APC Forum also described Senator Ewuga as a remarkable leader ,a gentleman and patriot whose invaluable contributions to the development of Nasarawa state and Nigerian at large will forever be remembered.

“We mourn the passing of this great statesman and extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family,friends , political associates and the good people of Nasarawa state.

“May his soul rest in peace,” the statement reads further.
