Funeral Activities Begin for Late Frontline Activist and Journalist, Comrade Morgan Omodu
Funeral activities for the late frontline activist and Managing Editor of Aljazirah Nigeria Newspaper, Comrade Morgan Omodu, commenced today in Abuja with a Service of Songs held at the Celestial Church of Christ, Supreme God Parish, Lugbe.
The solemn event brought together family, friends, colleagues, and prominent Nigerians who gathered to honour the life and legacy of the departed activist and media personality.
Among those in attendance were the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dimeji Bankole, Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Comrade Mark Adebayo , and former member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Victor Kolade Akinjo.
Also present were friends, comrades, and former leaders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), where the late Omodu had served as a prominent and respected leader.
Comrade Morgan Omodu will be laid to rest tomorrow, following a funeral service, after which interment will take place at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.
