Plateau State’s newly inaugurated Renewed Hope Ambassador, Hon. Ernest Da’a, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Pam Bot-Mang at his Maitama residence in Abuja. Da’a said the visit was to personally appreciate Bot-Mang for the encouragement and quiet support offered in his emergence as Ambassador, noting that such gestures of goodwill reflect a shared commitment to Plateau’s progress.
Hon. Da’a congratulated Bot-Mang on his own nomination and successful Senate screening as Federal Commissioner-designate at the Federal Character Commission (FCC). He described Bot-Mang’s rise as a well-earned recognition of his competence, broad administrative experience and steady contributions to public service in Plateau State and the All Progressives Congress at various levels.
In his response, Hon. Pam Bot-Mang, the APC’s 2023 Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate, expressed deep appreciation for the visit and warmly commended Da’a’s appointment. He described Da’a’s elevation as “apt, timely and thoroughly deserved,” citing his rich record of service as former Chairman of Qua’anpan LGA, strong relationship with ALGON members, influential role as Deputy Director General of the Generation Next Movement and reputation as a steadfast and loyal party man. These qualities, Bot-Mang said, make Da’a perfectly positioned to deliver impressively on his new mandate.
Hon. Da’a was accompanied by several of his former colleagues and Executive Chairmen of Local Government Areas across Plateau State, including Hon. Alexander Na’antuan, Chairman of Shendam LGA and former ALGON Chairman; as well as the Chairmen of Bokkos, Mangu, Mikang and Langtang North LGAs.
The visit ended with goodwill messages, mutual assurances of continued partnership and a shared resolve to strengthen collaboration for the benefit of Plateau State and its people.
