Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Senator Simon Lalong, warmly felicitates with the President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
Senator Lalong in a statement signed by Macham Makut his media aide described Senator Akpabio as a visionary leader, statesman and bridge–builder whose exemplary stewardship continues to strengthen the National Assembly and deepen Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
He recalls the Senate President’s unwavering commitment to legislative excellence, consensus building, and national unity, noting that his leadership of the 10th Senate has provided stability, direction, and renewed confidence in the legislature.
Senator Lalong further commends Senator Akpabio for his role in championing critical reforms, including those that support infrastructure development, human capital growth, national cohesion, and the wellbeing of Nigerians.
