Elected as Honourable Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Okitipupa State Constituency II, she served with integrity and vision. Under her stewardship, the House flourished as a beacon of progress, unity, and effective governance. She was truly a Speaker, properly so called- in capacity, competence, candour, and class.

When baseless allegations of sleaze arose, politically orchestrated to force a change in the leadership of the House to align with the political plans of the last administration, JMK refused to betray her group or compromise her values. She stood loyal and unyielding in her convictions. Eventually, she resigned to allow peace to reign in the State. Subsequently, the allegations were thoroughly investigated, set aside, and she emerged fully exonerated, with a clean bill of health from the resolution of the House and her integrity reaffirmed.
JMK is more than a politician. She is a devoted mother, a progressive visionary, a masterful team builder, and an eternal positive thinker. She sees possibilities where others see obstacles, unites people across divides, and fights for the progress of communities with every fibre of her being.
