
Edwin Clark, a prominent leader of the South-South region and former Federal Commissioner for Information, has passed away at the age of 97.
The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family from Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, confirmed his death in a statement on Monday night, February 17, 2025.
The statement, signed by Prof. C. C. Clark, thanked the public for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
“The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, regrets to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday, February 17, 2025. We are grateful for your prayers and will provide further details at a later time,” the family said.
This loss comes shortly after the passing of Afenifere leader, Ayo Adebanjo, who died at the age of 97.
