Ezeoha III of Uvuru: Eze Iheanacho Mbalewe great choice, Chief Nnaji

CHIEF John Nkemjika Nnaji a distinguished community leader and accomplished industrialist, has congratulated has His Royal Highness, Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe, on his coronation as Ezeoha III of Uvuru Autonomous Community, Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State, which is scheduled for 27 December 2025.
He said Eze Iheanacho Mbalewe was a great choice as shown in his unanimous acceptance during the selection process which followed the tradition and constitution of the community.
Chief Nnaji, who received the revered chieftaincy title of Ugochinyere Uvuru 30 years ago from the late traditional ruler, His Royal Highness Eze Reuben Ugwuegbulem Mbalewe, father of the new monarch, expressed profound joy at witnessing this historic transition of leadership.
“He is a great choice for our community,” Chief Nnaji said in his congratulatory message.
Chief Nnaji urged the new Eze to emulate the exemplary virtues, wisdom, and people-oriented leadership of his late father. He noted that Uvuru Autonomous Community has long been known for peace, unity, and communal strength, and called on all sons and daughters of the land to “think home” by investing in the community and supporting the new Eze.
Chief Nnaji appealed to the Eze-in-Council, both past and present, to remain steadfast as worthy custodians of culture and to offer constructive ideas that will help the new Eze steer the community towards greater development.
He prayed for a successful, peaceful, and prosperous reign for His Royal Majesty and his cabinet, asking God to grant the new monarch divine wisdom as he pilots the affairs of Uvuru.
Chief Nnaji’s contributions to community development include a longstanding scholarship programme, a youth football competition, and various philanthropic interventions aimed at uplifting the less privileged.
He reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the peace, unity, and advancement of Uvuru Autonomous Community.
