AS Uvuru awaits the coronation of Eze Iheanacho Chinyereze, Ezeoha III of Uvuru, its new monarch, the theme of his reign indicates a focus on sustainable development for the community.
Moving in harmony is the goal of the new Eze who wants to see Uvuru united in pursuit of communal peace so that it would attract more developments.
The Ezeoha III considers peace and unity of Uvuru prime values on which to build Uvuru, a quiet community in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area.
As the excitement of the December 27 coronation builds up, Uvuru people look forward to Eze Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe continuing his strides that endeared to his people when he pioneered many development projects in the community before his unanimous selection the new Eze.
Ezeoha III has been known for his desire for sustained upliftment of the economic fortune of every member of the community. He already has a template for the youth, the future of Uvuru.
“Our community needs peace and unity. Without peace we cannot achieve much. Without unity, we will be working at cross purposes, and the results of our efforts would be abysmal,” Eze Iheanacho Mbalewe said, outlining the pillars of his reign.
“Development of Uvuru will not be possible without peace and unity. We have great people in our community. When we work together, we will be greater together.”
Moving in harmony is an invitation to Uvuru people, everywhere they are found, to strive for actions that would enhance the well-being of their community.
His Royal Highness Eze Reuben Ugwuegbulem Mbalewe, recognised by the Imo State government on 1 January 1980 as Ezeoha I of Uvuru Ikedinairi, was Uvuru’s first traditional ruler.
Ezeoha I was the father of HRH Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe, the Ezeoha III of Uvuru.
