APC candidate Gagdi receives INEC nomination form for PKK Reps seat

Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi,, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency in Plateau State, yesterday received his INEC nomination form at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.

Gagdi, who emerged as the party’s candidate after the APC primary election, was presented with the form alongside other APC candidates from across the country, particularly those from Plateau State.

In a statement after the ceremony, Gagdi expressed profound gratitude to party members, stakeholders, and the people of PKK for the confidence reposed in him during the primaries.

“By the will of Allah, justice prevailed, and your collective decision has once again entrusted me with the responsibility of flying the flag of our great party,” he said.

He commended the leadership of the APC at all levels, especially the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwada, for conducting a transparent, peaceful, and credible primary that reflected the will of party members.

The lawmaker described the receipt of the INEC nomination form as a significant milestone and a reaffirmation of the mandate given to him through the democratic process.

“I remain humbled by this honour and pledge, by the grace of Almighty Allah, to continue providing quality representation, defending the interests of our people, and working tirelessly for the peace, unity, and development of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency,” Gagdi stated.

As preparations intensify for the general elections, the APC flagbearer called for continued prayers, support, and cooperation from the electorate, expressing confidence in another victory for the party.

“In God We Trust,” he added.

Gagdi, a member of the House of Representatives, currently chairs the House Committee on the Nigerian Navy.

He was first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023.
