The African Youth Initiative For Good Governance and Peace is a non-political, not-for-profit organization that serves all Nigerian Youths who love peace and have engaged in peace building at both theoretical and practical levels. We are an umbrella body for young men and women on the Africa continent saddled with core objective of fostering friendship, corporation and harmonious co-existence among members, stakeholders and public office holders for the much needed peace, development and economic stability of our dear Continent that will enhance and transform into good leadership of Africa. The organization’s mandate also include entrenching mechanisms that addresses challenges facing leadership ethos, peace and the delivery of democratic dividends via various media such as organizing leadership fora, human capacity development seminar, workshop and campaign against anti-democratic tendencies, mediation, skills acquisition trainings, and many more.
It embodies young dynamic individuals who have volunteered their intellect, skills, and strength to building ideal societies where peace, unity and development can thrive.
In a press statement released to the press and personally signed by the Convener of the African Youths Initiative For Good Governance and Peace, Oyewole Michael, he said “The organization will tomorrow, the 26th of October, 2023, confer her prestigious Nelson Mandela Outstanding Leadership Honor on Hon Akande Kazeem Babatunde. This recognition is predicated on the commitment and excellent contributions of Hon. Akande Kazeem Babatunde to youth mentorship, educational development, human capital growth, and discharging Institutional reforms for good leadership and peace.”
The statement further reads, “Over the years, Hon. Babatunde has laid indelible marks on the sands of time, and his antecedents speaks volumes. Tomorrow, this noble son of Africa will join other eminent Africans who have been recognized and honored by the topmost leading youth group in Africa.
