The leading House of Assembly Aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly seat to represent Ughelli North Constituency II, Oke Umurhohwo, has applauded Olorogun Jaro Egbo’s defection from the All Progressive Congress, APC to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Umurhohwo who applauded Egbo during the mega rally held in Ughelli Township Stadium, Ughelli North, said the return of Egbo to the PDP, is not only a triumphant entrance but the beginning of victory to the party from the units to the federal government level.
While describing Olorogun Jaro Egbo as a political juggernaut in the political terrain of Ughelli North and beyond, Umurhohwo affirmed that Egbo’s return to the PDP is a welcomed development not only to the people of Ughelli North Constituency II but to the entire local government and by extension Delta state.
Umurhohwo also used the occasion to reassure the people of Ughelli North Constituency II of his readiness to move the constituency to the promise land, promising to deliver on all campaign agendas.
He commended the working Governor, Sen. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for making out time to attend the HiVoltage PDP Mega rally at the Ughelli Stadium, pointing out that his presence in the rally has created a big impact not to Ughelli North local government but to the entire Delta Central.
Umurhohwo praised Governor Okowa for assuring aspirants and all party members of free and fair primaries at all levels, saying that his declaration has given room and hope for soft landing in the forthcoming primaries.
