An aspirant in the recently concluded Peoples Democratic Party’s House of Assembly primaries for Ughellli North II, Delta State, Mr Oke Umurhohwo, has congratulated ,His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for emerging victorious in the just concluded PDP presidential primaries.
Mr Umurhohwo in a congratulatory message signed on Thursday, described the emergence of the newly elected flag bearer ,former Vice President Alhaji Atiku, as the beginning of a journey to a better Nigeria.
He praised the leadership and Presidential aspirants for the serenity that prevailed throughout the exercise, pointing to the success of the primaries as an indicator to all that PDP will make Nigeria work again.
“One of the clearest indications that PDP is capable of rescuing Nigeria from the present hopelessness inspired by the APC misgovernance, is the outcome of the presidential primaries held on Saturday. I heartily congratulate His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for getting the nomination of the PDP,” Mr Umurhohwo stated in his message.
“With Alhaji Atiku’s experience and capacity, the PDP has answered Nigerian’s need for a leader capable of restoring the country on the path of unity and progress. It is no gainsaying that the emergence of Alhaji Atiku marks the start of the journey to a better Nigeria,” the Ughelli-born brand manager noted.
Mr Umurhohwo lauded aspirants for sustaining the single goal of fixing Nigeria, noting that their conduct before, during and after the primary is proof of their patriotism to the country and their love for their people.
“Looking at the brotherliness and sense of unity that prevailed all through the exercise, Nigerians can see that PDP aspirants were not just about themselves. That makes everyone a winner. I join all Nigerians to congratulate them and recognize their sacrifices in the interest of all,” he added.
