Retired educationist, High Chief Aaron Ponuwei Ebelo, is dead
Chief Ponuwei Ebelo is the father of prominent journalist, a former Deputy Editor, The News/Tempo Magazine, and oil palm plantation farmer, Mr Goodluck Ebelo.
Chief Ebelo died at the age of 84 after a brief illness in a Benin Hospital on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
He was an accomplished teacher, headmaster, farmer, a prominent community leader and exemplary gentleman.
He is survived by a wife, 12 children, 28 grand children and a great grand child.
Goodluck Ebelo, his first son, told The Network that the burial programme is scheduled to take place in the first week of December.
