FUAMB VC RECEIVES SCHOOL BUS DONATION FROM ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNMENT
The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), Professor Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, has received a school bus donated by the Adamawa State Government, further demonstrating the State Government’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of the University.
The official handover ceremony took place on Friday,17th July, 2026, in Yola, where Professor Tarfa received the vehicle on behalf of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi.
The donation fulfills part of the requests presented by the University’s Management to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, during a recent courtesy visit, and further reinforces the cordial relationship between the Adamawa State Government and the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi.
Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, and students of the University, Professor Tarfa expressed profound appreciation to Governor Fintiri for the generous gesture, describing the donation as a timely intervention that will strengthen the University’s transportation system and enhance the effective discharge of its academic, administrative, and community engagement responsibilities.
Following the handover, Professor Tarfa ensured that the vehicle was serviced, fueled, and certified roadworthy for immediate use by the University in support of its academic, administrative, and community engagement activities.
The Vice-Chancellor also commended Governor Fintiri for his unwavering commitment to educational development and his continued support for the advancement of higher education in Adamawa State.
