Today, the Tactical Team from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) successfully secured the release of a couple and their six-month-old daughter who had been abducted in Alrahus Estate, Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Credible sources confirmed the development to TheRadarNewsNG on Thursday. Recall that the family was abducted on October 6, 2026, when armed bandits reportedly stormed Alrahus Estate in Millennium City at about 11:30 p.m. Following their rescue, the couple and their baby are currently receiving medical treatment at a security medical facility.
The abduction had sparked concern over the safety of the family, prompting appeals to security agencies and members of the public for urgent intervention to secure their release.
Local communities have charged the security agencies to tackle the recent surge of kidnapping and banditry in Kaduna State.
