Describes allegations as false, Urge him to gather his facts properly before coming out to speak nonsense
Gives Verydarkman 48Hrs to Apologize To Gov Caleb Mutfwang for accusing him wrongly
Calls him a cheap noisemaker
A group operating under the aegis of Positive Plateau Youths for Peace and Development ( PPYFPD) on Friday lambasted Controversial social media personality, Martins Otse, aka VDM, over his recent allegations against Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
VDM in video that has now gone viral had lied that Governor Caleb Mutfwang did not call for an investigation into the killings of innocent persons in the state, but instead called for the investigation into the poisoning of cows in a community of the state.
Reacting to the video, the group described VDM’s outbust as mischievous saying that it’s public knowledge that Governor Caleb Mutfwang has in several foras condemned the attacks on his people and called for the investigation into the carnage.
‘ The Governor has been a guest on practically all the TV stations in the country in which he called for the investigation of the reoccurring killings in the state .”
It is also public knowledge that the state Governor Barrister Caleb Mutfwang has cried out calling on security operatives and Federal Government to come to the rescue of citizens to end the series of attacks on innocent persons been killed.
Hon John Bulus Azi the President of the group in a press release made available to newsmen in Jos noted that VDM’s Video was “intricately woven to misinform, mislead and manipulate sacred facts to achieve clearly perverted cheap popularity and political goals”.
The state government recently took proactive steps to end the spate of killings in the state by placing a ban on night grazing and movement of motorcycles from 6pm .
The statement reads “Our attention has been drawn to viral video credited to VDM in which he accused Gov Caleb Mutfwang of not condemning the attacks on rural communities in the state .
We are worried because the comments made by VDM are nothing but false as the Governor has countlessly condemned the killings and is working hard to ensure that attacks on innocent persons becomes a thing of the past as well as bring to book the perpetrators of this acts.
The group described VDM’s comments as baseless and diversionary.
We want to tell VDM that Governor Caleb is determined to change the negative narrative associated with the state.
Governor Mutfwang has been intensifying efforts in various ways, and the most salient of his leadership trait is his quest for peace as an impetus for the development of the state.
Since assumption of office,Governor Caleb Mutfwang made no pretence about what he needed to do in order to end the dastardly attacks on communities in the state.
The search for solutions, are in themselves, a reflection of the seriousness by the governor to put the pains behind the state.
Apart from receiving briefs from security chiefs in the state, he did what many governors had not thought of immediately when a situation like this occurs:
He has visited internally displaced persons in Riyom and Mangu, Bassa, and Bokkos to give them his government’s shoulders to lean on.
Governor Mutfwang also visited the Director General, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), where he called for support from the agency in aid of victims who have been made to go through the unfortunate humanitarian crisis.
He has also meet with the President at several foras to explain the security situation in the state.
If receiving the briefs meant anything, meeting the President was, in many respects, symbolic of a governor that is dedicated to redesigning the security architecture of the state for good.
We may not be privy to knowing what was on the agenda for the visit to Aso Rock; but it cannot be unconnected for him to solicit the cooperation of the Presidency in restoring peace to the state.
Governor Mutfwang has also visit the Defence Headquarters to parley with Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Taoreed Lagbaja and Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall, Hassan B. Abubakar with the need to strengthen the resolve to end the killings in the state.
He has also taken time to visit Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Gorge Akume, where he solicited for strategic collaboration to deliver the dividends of democracy to Plateau citizens and the people of North Central Nigeria.
We urge Very Dark man to gather his facts properly before coming out to speak nonsense .
We condemn him for calling his Excellency Barrister Caleb Mutfwang with unprinted names and gives Verydarkman 48Hrs to apologize To Gov Caleb Mutfwang for accusing him wrongly or we would face to take legal actions against him .
