NIGERIA TRIBUNE TO RETRACT DAMAGING PUBLICATION ABOUT MRS TAMARA OGEMBE AND HER HUSBAND, SENATOR AHMED OGEMBE
Nigerian newspaper, Tribune has on 23rd day of October 2023 bowed to a petition to retract damaging publications about wife of former Kogi Central Senator, Mrs Tamara Ogembe and her husband, Senator Ahmed Ogembe.
“We shall cease and desist further publication on the person of Mrs Tamara Ogembe as per the said story.
“We shall delete the article/statement from our website and social networks with immediate effect.
“We shall publish an apology/refraction on the said defamation news on our online site on Friday 27th day of October 2023 and the publication shall remain on the site for a reasonable period of months as demanded.
“We assure you of our Resolve to Refrain from any further act of defamation, slander for a reasonable period of months as demanded.
“We, again, apologies to Mrs. Tamara Ogembe and her husband, Distinguish Senator Ahmed Ogembe for any embarrassment that the publication might have caused them,” Tribune newspaper said.
