President Bola Tinubu has appointed former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, as the new Chairman of the Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
This announcement was made in a statement released on Tuesday by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale and obtained by News360 Nigeria gathered
Alongside Masari, six other individuals have been appointed as members of the TETFund board.
Other members are;
Senator Sani Danladi — Member
Mr. Sunday Adepoju — Member
Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi — Member
Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu — Member
Mr. Turaki Ibrahim — Member
Mr. Aboh Eduyok — Member
These appointments are part of President Tinubu’s efforts to strengthen the governance and effectiveness of TETFund in supporting tertiary education in Nigeria.
“The President expects the new members of the board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education,” the statement read.
