The Plateau State Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in collaboration with Max Lock Nigeria & Partners, has invited the general public, government agencies, corporate organizations, community leaders, and residents to a Stakeholder Engagement Forum on the proposed Greater Jos Master Plan (2025–2050).
The forum aims to gather valuable inputs and ideas that will shape the long-term vision for the growth, structure, and livability of Greater Jos over the next 25 years.
Organizers say the master plan will focus on enhancing urban development, improving critical infrastructure, strengthening security, and significantly raising the overall quality of life for residents of the state capital and its environs.
Arc. Sylvanus Dongtoe, Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, emphasized the importance of inclusive participation, stating that every voice matters in building a sustainable and well-planned future for Jos.
“The Greater Jos Master Plan is designed to transform Jos into a safer, more organized, and economically vibrant city,” the announcement noted.
